Notice of cancellation
Cancellation requests must be made in writing by the person who signed the event agreement. The effective cancellation date is the date we receive written notice.
Plans can change
Every signed proposal will contain the cancellation terms for that event. This page provides our general approach.
Effective September 24, 2026
Cancellation requests must be made in writing by the person who signed the event agreement. The effective cancellation date is the date we receive written notice.
Planning retainers and deposits reserve your date and compensate work already performed. Unless the signed agreement says otherwise, they are non-refundable.
Clients remain responsible for non-cancellable vendor charges, custom goods, venue costs, permits, and other commitments approved before cancellation.
We will make reasonable efforts to move services to a new available date. Vendor availability, pricing, and a rescheduling fee may apply. A postponement that cannot be rescheduled may be treated as a cancellation under the signed agreement.
Weather plans and force-majeure events are handled under the signed event agreement. We prioritize guest safety and will work with the venue and vendors on reasonable alternatives.
